On Sunday, while Jay Sensei, Chad and Charles were in Boulder enjoying the Halloween seminar, Michael and Shawn Young of Alamo City Aikido came up to train with us. It was a beautiful day and the energy with the 17 aikidoka on the mat was awesome! Mike taught two wonderful classes, first focusing on slow rolling and then working on the relation between breathing, expanding, intention and the connection with uke's center. This naturally led into an enjoyable practice, where we all enjoyed the opportunity to sweat during our dynamic training. Thank you Michael for teaching an incredible class and Shawn for coming up and enjoying the wonderful day with us. |
