Welcome to South Austin Aikido

Mark McDonald and Nathan Lucas test for Rokyu.  The tests were very exhilarating as Mark broke a sweat and turned beat red.  However, both tests showed a lot of good aikido techniques.  A lot of preparation was evident in the techniques of  each of these two aikidoka.  Nathan displayed very relaxed arms especially during randori.  Mark did some quality techniques during the jiwaza.  It was rewarding to see each of these guys connect with their partners, especially on iriminage. 

Special thanks to every one who stayed and cheered them on.  Plus thanks to those who provided ukeme for the tests.  Way to go Mark and Nathan!!
