Welcome to South Austin Aikido

We just concluded our third annual Aiki Week. We had fourteen classes across seven days, which included a lot of various topics we normally do not get to cover during our regular training. This was a lot of fun and it provided some extra exposure to everyone in their training on various weapons training as well as other types of open hand and ukemi practice.

Although I was tired beginning the week, the high attendance numbers quickly turned my tiredness into enthusiasm. We averaged 16 people thru the 14 classes which is outstanding. We also had 9 people train all 7 days which is an all time high.
