On Sunday, September 27th we had three kyu tests which included Ed Still for Rokyu, David Huffacker for Sankyu and Charles Pummill for Ikkyu.  The tests were well done by all.

First was Ed, testing for Rokyu.  This was his first test and Ed showed a lot of improvement through the preparation for this test.  He had a good understanding of the required techniques and even pulled off a couple of extras.  Way to go Ed!

Second, David tested for Sankyu.  All of his consistent training certainly showed in his test.  David is moving with a clear understanding of center and he has softened his dependence on his arms.   His randori showed a lot of improvement.   Way to go David!!

Finally, Charles tested for Ikkyu.  He did a great job of understanding the form of each technique.  His suwari wasa was fun to watch and the movement during his randori was very good indeed.   Way to go Charles!

After the tests we all went to Pei Wei for dinner and the plenty of Aiki conversation.  It was the perfect end to an exciting test day.  Thanks to everyone supported the kyu tests and the many ukes during the kyu tests!
